Student Support Services Website
The Beacon of Light Scholars Program needed a website that was informative for people learning about the program, but also useful for participants and faculty.
Clinton College is a beacon of light for students who want to succeed. They offer a variety of programs, but their Beacon of Light Scholars Program is designed to help students with their schoolwork and give them access to tools that will help them succeed.
The program had a single overview page on the overall college website and now they needed a standalone website that was informative for people learning about the program, but also carried out some of the program's basic functions, like submitting reports, and scheduling services.
That's where I came in. I concepted and created a solution that was informative for potential students so that they could learn about all the different aspects of the program, but also carried out its basic functions so that participants, professors, or parents could use it as well.
This included welcoming homepage copy and an easy-to-navigate page of all available services.
I also created copy for an "Apply Now" page that took applicants directly to a form where they could fill out their information, submit it online, and schedule an appointment or make changes if needed—all in one place!
